Hey out there. Anyone have any ideas on making a crankcase breather for the older Touring Harleys with Marelli EFI? (Or where to get one?) I have the MM Ness big sucker and the MM doesn't allow for drilling and tapping like the delphi throttle body. I just helped my friend make one for his new Dyna and it worked pretty sweet, and totally hidden behind his Ness filter. If anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears.
I came up with this design that used the spacers with the nipples rather than the metal tube that ran up and across the heads. My original design simply cut the metal tube and used it in place of the spacers with nipples. We then had the spacers made.
It was sold like this for several years by screamin eagle until they went to the cast assembly.
I was using something like the old SE set up but I kept getting oil leaking from around the washers next to the head. Anyway I want to do a set up like the one in the picture for the Dyna. Do you have the specifics on the mod. like what size fitting and the drill / tap required?
BTW - someone did a write up on a similar mod. with pictures etc. and I was looking for that when I ran across this post.

Yea the fitting was a 1/8" ntp. I believe the bit I used was a .0 bit thats something you may want to google. The tap was a 1/8 x 27 npt. It was pretty simple to do and works great.
