I just sold a set of 598's and in a 103" I'd run 11+-1 comp and I 'd want 290+ @.600 valve lift. But thats just me. Others may have different ideas.

Not 100% sure but I don't think those stock heads will accept a .590 lift cam. Really pushin it. Check with your local head porter about the valve to valve clearance.

No worries; the OEM heads will accommodate cam lift up to .600" but always wise to check valve to piston and valve to valve at TDC.

The heads will be getting some work or replaced with a CNC set. I was just wondering how much was needed.

You do know 590's will not fit no matter what you do with the heads, right?

Haven't looked at DME cams for while but the last time I looked the 590s were not available for the 07 and up models. Maybe they are now?

They are called 575L's same event timing as 590's, slightly lower lift , 1" journals. Had a set. He started making them 3 or 4 years ago.
