I ordered a 2016 FLSTFBS and am waiting for delivery, In the past I have always upgraded my Harleys with a stage one intake, better cams and a Vance and Hines exhaust system, seeing this already come with Stage One intake and 255 cams, do I need to upgrade the exhaust? Obviously a better exhaust will sound better but do I really need to. Right now V&H hasn't posted an exhaust system for this bike. Any input?

Any exhaust designed for a Fatboy will work. It doesn't have to be specifically for the new "S" model. Also V&H is not the sole proprietor for HD exhausts, there are many set-ups from other manufacturers that are a much better system.
I am sure you know that my remark was "tongue in cheek"; don't let this out but I have been wrong at least twice.
BTW, Mike Lozano has taken off to Doha, Qatar to open up a racing motor shop. Don't know the details of whether this is a permanent move or not but no more dyno days until he returns to San Antonio. I am planning a 124" build for my old FLHT and now am going to have to depend on someone else for machine and head work.
We had just heard as well, that ML had moved to the Middle East?!

I haven't talked to Ben yet for details but Mike will be sorely missed by many. I would bet that the move is not permanent but don't expect Mike back in Texas anytime soon. And we were just starting to discuss a 124" build for my old FLHT; there is no one else near that I trust for advice and machine work.
