I have been working with Andrew at Revolution Performance for 7 years now and have had nothing but great luck with all their products. Everyone has their favorite company to deal with so this is just my opinion. With that said, on the 40+ engines I have rebuilt or done performance mods to have been through those guys. Call them up and talk to Andrew about any concerns.
'Have the Revolution Performance 4.125 Kit (Nikasil) in the '09 SERG 117" for >24k mi. so far (installed for about 20 months)...
Uses no oil from day 1.
Some folks had issues with the earlier kits (I'm thinking due to improper rings? improper installation? improper break-in? Maybe "D" all of the above?) which gave RP a bad rap on the forums...
In my personal experience with the Revolution Performance Kits;
"The sky is not falling anymore"...
We've seen them work, and have seen them not, to be very honest.
The tremendous damage to their reputation that the "shop" caused, may never be able to be repaired?

My 08 fat boy was a 96 but had it upgraded to a 103. Then I broke a few cooling fins off and went back to the 96. Just haven't change it on my profile. But would love to go to a 117 if I can with OUT splitting the case, if not I will go with a s&s 107.
