Cam install - need lifters

Just built a 110 with SE 110 heads and 260 cams and initially put in the comp 850's. The engine had excessive valve train noise and it did not want to go away. So out went the 850's and in went the S&S std lifters. Problem gone. So many seem to be able to use the 850's. I do not know if it was a combo of the big valve springs and the aggressive cam but they did not work for me in this application. So the screwing around was not worth the little extra the S&S's cost. Working on an engine build right now, its going to get the S&S. I should have listened to Scott over the years and saved myself some trouble.
