This is the reason I wouldn't buy a first year of a new model, major engine change, etc. Sorry to hear you're having issues with the new ride. Hopefully it will get resolved quickly.
Can still be a faulty sensor for the gauge. Wouldn't be suprised if the issue is something simple and silly. And good luck to you on the repair. Hopefully they get you out within an hour and riding that new bike.

I'm with you on that one, I'm not interested in being one of their beta testers.
Spoke to Harley and they want the dealer to resolve this. It has 120 miles on the bike, shouldnInpush for a new bike or new engine?

Not sure if they extend any lemon laws to motorcycles in your state,(they don't here in MN), but if they do, please read what has to happen to the bike before the manufacturer is obligated to remedy via those laws. You're not even close..............
Well I was a "beta" tester back in 2007....Had to have that new 96 motor and 6-speed gear box....
The bad news? Many issues cropped up like excessive heat, bad compensator, bad sensors, etc.
The good news? I still have the bike, and all major issues have been fixed (mostly by me)
Not sure I will make the choice to be an early adopter again....I will wait until the bugs are worked out.
