My cousin in Florida had the same oil pressure issue on his 17 Ultra and the dealer replaced oil pump cam and cam plate it fixed the problem all is good. He had them check crank runout it was .0055. He was not to happy about that.

Everyone loves to step right up and roll the dice as a Harley Davidson Beta tester.
I did post what HD had told the dealer to do. They have installed the new pump, cam and cover. They tested it tonight late and had 10 psi on a really warm engine, they want to repeat tomorrow and I then get the bike back.
HD want the parts back overnight, this is not normal for them to want the parts overnight my dealer is saying.
So final outcome was Oil pump, Cam and Cam cover were replaced. 2 tests were done for oil pressure and they both produced 8psi when warm. The switch operates at 5psi.
Dealer did well but I think HD should have done more.
