Can anyone help me out with identifying these two motors?
The eng. ID for the one I'm running is *DPLR504673*
The eng. ID for the boxed motor is *DDV2634749*
I have a chopper with an EVO engine there are no markings on the engine except a vin # on the left case below and center of cylinder base surface normal HD spot but the number don't look like a HD number can anyone help me find out what I have, the # is *BKLX928670* the chopper is titled as 2002 if that helps
I am having the same issue with BKL X923079 in an unstamped rigid frame being sold as a 1984 Harley Custom and no luck with the Texas assigned vin tag on the frame neck

BK - FXSTC
L - 1340 EVO
X - 1999
That's the engine.
The assigned number on the neck is irrelevant to the hardware. Legal VIN numbers are frame numbers only in most, if not all states since the early '70s.

There you go. The engine number is part of the Bikes VIN number it came off of.
Both Engine numbers post look legit for HD engine numbers from the time frame. If you post pictures of the Number we most likely can tell if it is legit or a restamp. Things they did with style of letters and numbers most often give it away.
