Sounds like a pretty good price nonetheless. And seems you didn't pay for it. 2002 is a heck of a year to have. Good cranks.

Like everyone else said........ ask him for receipts or who did the work. Or get a dyno run.

Thanks for the replies guys, I did hear the ‘O2 was a pretty good year. And I just need to decide if I want to keep this one, or trade it in, maybe I’ll take it to get a Dyno test

Honestly, if you're happy with how it runs and pulls... does it really matter?

I say fuel the beast up and rack up the miles!

I would start with a compression test; quick and easy and won't answer the Stage 4 question but will reveal 88" or 95".

I would check the cam chain tensioners and see what cams are in there while it's open.
