if a bike isn’t pushing at least 1hp per cubic inch then it’s mut imo. I’d steer clear of the “screamin chicken STAGES”

The MoCo claims the CVO 110" motor delivers 115TQ in stock trim. Sounds like you went backwards with your Stage I upgrade and tune. was the tune done by the dealer? Is the dealer pushing the Stage IV kit?
110/115 numbers are easily achieved with headwork, cams and proper dyno tune (not a dealer tune). Two forum sponsors can inform you on how to get the numbers you want. Talk to Scott/Hillside Cycles and Kirby/VeeTwin Performance; chat them up and work with one of them to get what you want. We are basically talking about a top end rebuild which you can DIY or find a local independent shop that works primarily on Harleys and has a good track record.

Here is a cam only 110" we had to fix, the engine lost a lifter and took out the cam chest. While going back together we threw in a Red Shift 587 cam along with the S&S pump/plate, lifters, pushrods and whatnot. The bike had the stock 110" intake and a Fat Cat exhaust....I post this for reference. Last but not least, many thanks to Steve at GMR for the great tuning on this for us!!!

I'd give both Hillside Motorcycle & Machine in Munnsville NY and Hulten Speed Sports in St Johnsville NY a call since both a reasonably close to CT and for $4k they could build you a great motor that will out perform the MOCO kits by a long shot.
