big difference between advertised crank hp and rwhp. About 16-20%.
Really? I never would have known. I guess it's hard to tell when "tongue in cheek" comments are posted.
The OP has so many options to achieve his goal for less than half of the dealer quote that he should be looking elsewhere for a plan. Something as simple as a new cam set and tune might satisfy but as previously suggested, head work matched up with the right cam set and a proper tune will achieve his goal and then some.
riiiiiiight, thats why you compared them lmfao. buells had a 101hp too Bahahaha.
Sorry if the tongue in cheek irony of my previous post was lost on you. It seems, and it is unfortunate, that a member can't have a little fun on this forum these days without some smart *** picking the post apart rather than posting a productive reply to the OP.
For that $4k I'm sure anyone of the competent builders here will get that 110"er into the 130/120 range... Make some phone calls.... Ain't that so ntraindavefl....

you bet Bob, those were the good ole days, great build thread, good relationships, great results for far less than 4K.
4k is a big pill to swallow. I did the Harley 110 kit myself, got the parts for $1700 so you know dealer cost is lower than that. Total investment just over $2k, if you don't want to do the install take the extra $2k and find a good local shop to do it and have it tuned. Bet you still have money left over.
