I want to put a set of SE 204 Cams in my 2014 Breakout. Just wanted to ask if I should use the Screamin Eagle Cam Installation Kit or would it be okay to
use the S&S Cam Installation Kit? I figured the journals would be the same size on either the Screamin Eagle Cams or the S&S Cams bit I just wanted to ask for sure.
Just seems like the S&S Kit has better bearings in it and it does not have a lot of parts in the kit I would not be using. I planned on using the S&S Quickie Pushrods so I
make the job a little less complicated. Thanks..........
I used the s and s kit and I liked it because it came with the three orings for the oil pump, a new clip for cam and like you said good bearings. My vote is for s and s.
I used the HD kit kit an it came with the crappy cam bearings, it also came with stuff not needed like the oil plate bearings for the old style cam plate.
If you're not locked into the SE cams, you may wanna check the cam packages out @ Fuel Moto. They have some good kits at about the best pricing I have seen, along with good customer/tech service.
I got my S&S cams with the install kit, S&S premium lifters, Fuel Moto adjustable push rods, & a Cometic gasket kit for around $600.You can get it w/o lifters also for an even better price, but, with the kit, it's about $100 cheaper than buying everything individually.
I just installed the S&S kit. Cam plate, 509 cams, adjustable pushrods, lifters and for inner bearings I used Koyo and outer bearings I used the S&S bearings that came with the kit. If you are doing this yourself and have never done it before pay very close attention on how the pushrods tubes go together. You will be using the OEM part with the spring in it for your new S&S tubes. 2006 Deluxe

Tried Fuel Moto today in regards to purchasing a S&S Cam Install Kit and the S&S Pushrod & Cover Kit.
They replied: "Sorry, but we do not stock or offer those items."

You likely have to buy the cams to get the install kit. IDK if they ever sold the S&S quikee push rods.I used the Fuel Moto adjustable push rods that came with my kit.

I purchased my kit from Jeff at MX South. Next day delivery great prices.
Sent them a email message early yesterday morning requesting pricing and delivery on the S&S parts.
Did not get any response so I just ordered the parts on eBay.
