Default Stupid crank question

Hello there, just grabbed a 2012 Fatboy Lo 103B

I did absolutely 0 research, 100% wanted the bike.. now that i'm doing some reading i'm starting to worry about crank issues..

I don't believe i have any crazy vibrations, etc but is the B twin cam affected the same way as the unbalanced version regarding crank run out?

What are the symptoms of crank run out issues, is it definitely something you'd notice, or something subtle?

The balanced motors have the same issues. The odds are you'll be ok. Remember it's the internet and not alot of people start threads about how their bike has no issues...everybody complains and few compliment. I have an 08 cvo road king that had .003 runout...pretty good in the twin cam world. So I did heads and cams and 7k in the rod bearings went out. Would it have happened if I left it stage one ? Who knows but it's all better now with a darkhorse man o war crank. My grand pappy always said "if it ain't broke don't fix it". Ride the bike and enjoy it...put it out of your mind. If something happens fix it then. Remember for every bad crank there's probably thousands that had zero issues...im just an unlucky bastard lol.

Ride it like you stole it and beat it like it owes you money, if it's meant to break it will. worrying and babying it is a waste of time
