Default Very general engin question

This one is simple ,and Im sure most of you know ,but Im new and learning.

Question 1 On the current model years the 883 and the 1200 are on the sportster and the rubber mounted 1584cc twin cam 96 on the Dynas and the 1584cc twin cam 96B rigid mounted counter balanced on the Softails . Then I guess the V rods and buels have something else. Is all this correct?

Question 2 , What is the correct sequence of the motors as far as what years did they start/stop. Pan head ,shovel head (I have no idea what was first ,then what , I know about the EVO then what did that run until what they have now? See, I dont know jack. Im sure I missed a bunch.

Don't judge a joint by the first person you meet when ya bang through the batwings.

You are right in what you stated about the engines. The V-Rod has it's own water cooled motor, and the Buell has a couple different motors. The main Buell is a Sportster-based engine with more hot rod parts, and the latest Buell has an engine developed by Rotax.
