I've put 69,000 miles on the hydraulic set up. I've been in there 4 times for different reasons. I changed them once when I went from the SE pump to a fueling. There was hardly any wear at that time that was with both original chains at that time I switched to the newer chain on the outside. That was about 50,ooo miles on hydraulic. Bike has 138,000 miles on it with 3 pumps, two sets of cams, rockers, two sets of jugs and pistons, and four sets of lifters.

o and I hate the stock spring tensioner the way they pit out.

I was just talking about this with two guys at a swap meet. I'm not sure if my 05 FLHRSI has had it done already or not. I was thinking about calling the dealership I bought it from and seeing if they have records of previous work. I really don't feel like opening up stuff I don't have to.

try removing your pushrod covers. If a pair of adjustable push rods are installed, it is likely that they did the job

If the hydro conversion was done by a dealer, the work will be in the system under the VIN. If done by an previous owner, no record. Like Shaggie says, if adjustable push rods have been installed that would indicate the cam chest has been opened but could also indicate other work was done. You can also pull the cam chest cover and take a peek; a little more work but eliminates the guessing.

I'm late to the party, and it may not matter at this point for the OP. I have an '03 Road King, and I have kept the spring tensioners and just replaced the pads. First time was with OEM pads, and I replaced all the bearings while I was in there, and new pushrods. Second time, replaces with CYCO pads, and put new lifters in. I only have about 7k on the Cyco pads so far, but not planning on checking them for another 15k or so.
