120R Engine modifications
It's a 2014 Street glide with about 11k miles on it. The bike was put together and sold with a 120R off the show room floor as their flashy bike. I picked it up last summer with around 6k on it. My questions/ what I'm looking for advice on is what are my best options to get a little more out of the engine without making it a time bomb. Currently it's making about 125/125. Overall, its a great bike and a lot of fun to ride.
When the motor was installed, it had roller rockers, adjustable push rods, 58mm TB, High Flow SE AC, D&D 2-1 exhaust, and a 1.5Q SE pan installed.
I have a set of TW408-6 cams that's were in my father's bike for a short amount of time. I'd love to reuse these and build off these cams (assuming they run well with my goals, the shop told him they had to go as part of his detuning to run pump gas). What else should I be looking at?
Are the 120R heads sufficient flow wise for these? Or should I be looking at machining for a higher compression/ porting?
Is the 58mm TB larger enough or should I go larger? I believe it has 5.3 injectors so I'm assuming those will have to increase? I do a lot of low speed riding, from what I've read the larger TB's make the drivability a little more of a challenge.
Im assuming I should have the crank worked/ welded? What are the limits on the stock cranks?
Reading, it seems a higher volume oil pump is recommended? Is this more for built engines, or is the stocker insuficient?
What should I be looking at for valves/ springs? Are the stockers okay?
Im basically looking for more power under 4500 rpm. I do a lot of both city and highway riding.
I hope I didn't make this too long and thanks advance! I look forward to everyone's advice/ experience.
