Stock cam alignment issue

Tore down the bottom end again just to double check the crank and bearings. Everything is fine. Flywheel is centered and spins freely. No run out on the main shaft. Seems perfect. I think what might have happened is that I had my flywheel rebuilt a couple years ago due to the counterbalance timing gear spinning out of alignment. I guess its possible that when it was rebuilt the tolerances probably were shifted a little and I might not have checked the cam gear alignment when I first rebuilt it a couple years ago. Now I noticed it on this rebuild and I thought something was wrong. I'm ordering the spacer kit and hopefully my theory about the flywheel is why the tolerance has changed. Thanks for the help guys.

Ed mentioned an important point. The instructions say to push in and pull out on the cam sprocket while measuring for the correct spacer/shim. i'd re-check that part myself.
