Hotrod has good advice. YouTube "how to check for spark on a motorcycle". Good stuff there. You do have the switch set to "run" on the handlebar right?
This. Do you have that switch set to run? (down) It's right next to the start button.
Took it all apart, chased the wiring, making sure all the connections are solid at least (couldn't find a wiring diagram, and don't have a service manual yet), and still nothing.
I'm 100% certain no spark, and there's fuel on the plugs - a little. (It's enough for me to be sure there's fuel getting to it, but I don't think it's flooded.)
Not sure how to check all the things between the battery and the plugs, but will start researching and learning. I figure next obvious thing is wires, then coil. After that, I don't know.
Thanks for posting that, I kept finding that site, and on my phone it just gives me a few of the language choices, none of them English. I thought was a b.s. site, but since you posted it, I checked it in desktop view and it worked correctly. Really happy I have a wiring reference now.
Well, regardless of whether it's wired correctly, when I put one multimeter probe on the center post, and the other on one of the outside posts the meter jumps all over from around 160 down to 2 and then will start to settle in around 20 - 3, and finally bounce around between 3 and 3.7.
As I messed around with it trying to repeat the tests, it started not registering at all. Double checked the multimeter and it registers fine on other things still, so I'm going to believe it's a bad coil.
Revzilla and Dennikirk are going to love me before the year's out...
EDIT: Oh, and also, if I put one probe in each of the spark plug towers, it registers nothing as well.
