Ive never had an issue shifting, not even at over 5,500 rpms. I dont doubt you, Ive just never experienced any difficulties shifting with my VPC.
Thanks guys for the info.. even when I'm getting on it I very rarely shift past 5000 I normally shift way earlier just cruising .. so hoping that won't be an issue..

The persons that don't have this issue, are generally using the VPC that clamps less. Still the initial pull will be harder than stock inthe upper RPM range. The VPC adds pressure to the pressure plate which ends up being at the lever when the clutch is pulled in.
Have a few vpc hats of the highest pressure. Never noticed a harder pull at high rpms. Guess I’m having too much fun to notice or maybe because my arms are jacked. True statements......but I’ll check the mirror again just to be sure

Do that and put a tach on your bike. I ran a VP92 for about 300 miles and it sucked.
If you are in the Indianapolis area try calling Horsepower Inc. They also do tuning. I don't know of anybody that has used them as I am the Left coast but might be worth a phone call.

Running the AIM VPC on a 98" (115/115) and have had some issues when power shifting; not so much with the pull but rough engagement. Pingel electric shifter solved that problem. I only use it when the occasion calls for it and have no issue with pull or engagement with normal shifting.
