I have a 2003 TC88 with the S&S 509, oil pump, camplate w/hydraulic tensioners etc
I have also put the S&S quicki pushrods in - but cant get rid of the top end noice ( I still have the original lifters, there were no noice before the swap )
what I am doing wrong ?? 🤬🤬
adjusted to zero lash and 4 full turn - wait 20 min and I Can spin the rods with my fingers... isnt that the Way ??? Or are there alternative ways ?
The bike has 44.000 km ( approx 27.000 Miles )

Load the lifter to .140-.150".
S&S pushrods will be 4.6 turns.

Go to the Rockout website and look at the "witness" marks on the rocker shaft that are the source of the noise. Look for those witness marks when you install the Rockouts. If there are witness marks, you can expect an improvement with the Rockouts but if no witness marks and pushrods are adjusted properly and noise persists, lifters might have to be replaced.
