Default Dream bike totaled!!!! Need help with 2020 Engine Upgrade

I was doing about 50 mph I would guess and back end hit gas/oil leak that threw back tire into a twister. Ended up going imto a highway culvert. Suffered 8 fractured ribs, punctured lung, and concussion. My 17 Street glide was totaled today and I paid to have it built exactly how I wanted. Now to a new chalkboard. I plan on buying a 2020 and having most of the engine work done before I bring it home. Last bike had stage one power cams with screaming eagle high flow, heads 5 angled by Vance and Hines big bore cyclinders 4.075 and big bore pistons. It was right at 125 hp/125 torgue but held that 100lbs of torqe for close to 3500 rpm range. I looked at the 117 to 131 and am not impressed buy how short the power peak lasts so I’m reaching out for suggestions.

I googled "Harley M8 135hp" and found an article on Roadglide.org that showed the FM 128" kit producing 140HP with an enormous TQ curve as flat a tabletop

Sounds as if you currently have time on your hands, while you heal! Best wishes for a full recovery and just take a little time to get things right. Your damaged bike is a good starting point, so a duplicate would be great!

Talking Screaming Eagle motor or Detroit diesel

My 2000 HS Springer has a high compression 103 ci Screaming Eagle motor that was put in by one of its previous owners. It has compression releases and six speed transmission. When I start it, it sounds like I am starting a Detroit diesel. In fact, all children and women have to stand back at least ten feet. This is just on start up. After that, the beast quiets down. Is this the nature of the beast? The Springer is unlike my 2006 Heritage Classic, which is like a lamb when I start it.I am beginning to think that this is no ordinary motor and that something else was done to it. How can I find out the history of this motor?
