Default Engine Removal
A friend of mine just bought a wrecked Road King with a nice S&S motor that he wants me to take out of the bike for him. The frame is bent pretty bad so I am going to cut sections of it away with an angle grinder and lift it out with a hoist. My question is can I take the engine, trans, and primary out as one unit or an I missing some thing? Other than weight I don't see an issue.

If you’re cutting the frame into pieces. Leave the bottom rails like a skid. Cut everything else you don’t want.

Don't forget the swingarm is attached to the transmission case
