Default Compression Ratio for Woods cam.

So everything is on its way.
build consists of SE heads 76cc ported and polished , valves etc
Jugs to be bored out to 98" once the pistons arrive.
Pistons are CP Carillo BHM98FT -1.6cc
Cams arre Woods TW6H
SE cam plate & HV oil pumpDaytona twin tech TC 88 ignition module

So I been doing # crunch on the bigboyz compression calculator online.

Assuming I have a zero deck height
.30 Cometic gasket gives me 10.56:1
.40 Cometic gasket gives me 10.34:1
.45 stock gasket gives me 10.23:1

Which of these are most optimal for this cam?
Oh it's a 2001 touring

Cheers

I have you at 10.45:1. with a .030" head gasket. Your Pistons are most likely .004" in the hole.. CCP comes in at 200 psi... Which is doable if you get the right tuner (indy). Personally I would do the .030" hg but I would work the heads to 78 cc which would put you to 10.25:1. You really want the smaller squish with the. 030"hg. I also know that some of the head porters on here don't care for the SE heads.. they leave a lot to desire.. porting and flow issue.. And why solid lifters? Your not building a high rpm race motor...

Heads are done and he's moved onto other projects
76 is what I have to work with.
Can you explain why the smaller squish.

Also I never mentioned anything about lifters lol.
IM using a&s lifters

On the lifters I mixed you up with another post..

As for the squish, when it's tighter you have less chance of detonation.. So you had your heads already set up by a porter? Did he set them up for the Woods 6H cam? If so you should be good to go..

Yes he said those would be the best cams. I gave him a couple of choices and he went with the woods TW6H to match em with

I been doing my best not to cut corners and completely over look things...I've researched and researched and invested money n time to get this at least to as close as it should be
Amazing the amount of tasks to ensure everything is optimal

I run a similar set up on 03 Road King - the same cams- Woods 6H installed +4 degrees - I'm at 95" +. 020, heads are 84 cc , ported, 1.9 intake, 9 cc piston dome - it cranks @ 210 -212 compression from the Big Boyz chart is 10.65 static / 9.95 corrected . It's fun . I run a Daytona Twin Tec ECU for tuning - If you talk to Bobby Woods , he likes compression , you will have to be carful with your tuning - ignition timing - especially @ 2-3,000 RPM at larger throttle openings . That set up will pull good - you will have a traction problem unless you run sticker tires .
I forgot - my squish is .036 - The cyls needed cutting ,but I didn't want to wait to put it together

Nice ... I was gonna stay at 95 but decided 98.
Have you dynoed it? I'm curious at what torque & HP you're pushing
I usually run with Michelin Commanders for tires

Never been on a dyno - a Pirelli Night Dragon will slip & brake loose a bit at 3800 rpm in 2nd & 3rd gears. It's not the clutch it's Barnett extra plate & VPC lock up. I run Shinko 777's now. It will run with / beat a CVO 110 . I run a Baker 33 tooth pulley - It's strong 70- - 110 mph

Reaper's 98" engine is pretty close to the specs in the OP. It has Wood TW6H-G cams, and I used Cometic .030" MLS head gaskets, for static CR of ~10.5:1. Runs STRONG.

Cheers!
