The way I learnt it was that Narrow LSA cams have the potential of higher peak torque. Wider LSA generate more torque over a wider power band. When you say:

I do know that the 9b carries a lot of area under the torque curve.
I think wider power band. If you said it would be a torquer I'd agree that the 9B will likely generate more torque. Still, IMO, I consider cams in the 105 and up and wider LSA cams. and ones in the 102 and less, narrow.

Anyway wide LSA is what I prefer. Nice wide power band for rolling through the tight stuff.

Hit the numbers on the bore about 0.0035 interference. The cylinder cleaned up real nice.

One thing that is interesting is how the SnS cylinders ghosted the cylinder from the cast splines in the cylinder..

Larry was right on about the Tapmagic aluminum. Looks crappy due to me running a vacuum to clean out the swarf but was real smooth. No fuz, Cut with a standard 432 tpg insert.

Easy way to remove the dowels with a 3/8 NC tap and cylinders ready for heating.

Really looking good so far...
It's this going to be injected or carbed?

It has a SE CV51 carb. It's a 2000 FXDX Not the best pic but probably the latest.
