Shopping for an FXR ( I know, might take awhile)
Research indicates that 75-80 HP can be built with stock stroke
I`m thinking CP 10.5 pistons for an actual 9 point something
Andrews EV ? / Head work / 5500 rpm limit ignition
My personal preferences dictate a CV carb and either slip ons w/ stock head pipes OR Supertrapp 2into 1
What say the smart guys ?

Rush makes a great slip on. Stock head pipes. Go with the 1.75" baffles. They can had for around $200 now. Nice deep rumble, not too loud, and perform great. Had them on my 100hp stage 2 103 with the 2" baffles.
Khromewerks HP Plus is another.
I'd suggest the powerhouse 595E. I have had good luck with that cam in a 80 evo, but with 5500 redline. Don't know if high end power would be useful. The 565vp is a mid range tq cam.

Yeah, that 80" likes to rev too. That would be my choice. Up that rev limit to 6500 at least. Even 6800.
Hammer performance has a great cam in that rpm range too for an 80" evo. Their 560s. Or even 600s.
In your rpm range their Jackhammer 570s would work well.
