Just bought a FLHCS 114 with factory air cleaner. Wanting to upgrade but so many different types. I
like the flat factory one but I also like the 90* intakes. Don't want a super big filter that gets in the way
of my legs. Really confused just looking for some real advice.
I like the S&S stealth's. They will even take your stock cover or have other options. The smaller filter will support your 114 and if you go bigger down the road. They do offer a taller filter. Hard to beat for the price. Only elbow I like since the first heavy breather. Is HPI's elbow manifold. Which really isn't an air cleaner but a tunnel ram.
I like the SE Heavy Breather but WTFDIK. If looking in to air filter upgrades, might consider venting head breathers to the atmospher. as part of the project.

Why don't you ride it a while, say 500 - 1,000 miles and then decide if you want to change the filter. Then come back and ask for recommendations.
Enjoy the new ride first and get to know her before making any changes.
I'm replacing the CVO breather on my 117 LRS because the dyno tuning shop who'll be remapping it has said though they look cool, they're restrictive. They also recommended an S&S Stealth, but said the Trask Assault was equally as good. More expensive but looks fantastic. You need the external vent kit as well (which seem bloody expensive for what it is) if you don't want the plexi-glass to fog up with oil vapour.
Trask Assault does look good but the filter is from China and is restricitive. If going with the Trask, replace the filter with a K&N; they make one that will fit.
I went with the S&S Stealth behind the stock outer cover, and not only does it breathe better, but it uncovers a lot of the cylinders that the factory airbox covers up, thereby helping cool the engine better now.
