I have a nice set of ACR heads off my RG I'll sell ya!
Friend of mine is running EZ cams in his SG with ACR heads, like was mentioned just turn the acr off in the tune. Compression releases have failed before, both ACR and manual. I don't recall any EZ start cams coming apart. Many OEMs have used a mechanical compression release on the cams, seems to be a Japanese thing

I have had success with Big Crank Batteries, they are manufactured in the same place as the Harley Batteries. Some call them funny batteries but they function the same as Harley batteries as long as you use the provided spacers.
I use battery tenders on all my bikes that sit, keeps the batteries charged and in good shape. Some say it is not good to do that, I have not had any issue in 10 or so years doing it.
I do the same for my boat, which sits unused for long periods of time in the garage up at my summer cottage. Never an issue. I get 7 or so years out of that battery, of course it is a marine battery so something may be different.
As fo using a battery maintainer and not knowing the condition of the battery so you may get stuck out in the boonies, I carry a jump pack just in case.
I also test the batteries regularly to make sure they are in good shape. Don't need to take them out and get them load tested if you have the correct equipment.
I have one of these and while not the most accurate, it serves good enough to know if the battery will last 3, 7, or 20 years.
