I have a service manual but I moved to a new house and wasn't sure where I packed it but I found it it's a climer but it does the job got the torques now
Final update fellas bikes back together and running like a champ not sure if I posted this but it turned out to be a loose bolt on each head and a blown head gasket on the rear cylinder now I just gotta keep an eye on it cause if it does it again then that means they pulled out of the cases just have to adjust the idle tomorrow and ride the hell out of it a big thank u to everyone on this forum u guys walked me through a lot of stuff and I highly appreciated it u guys are awesome thank you brothers
So I went for a ride after I got the Fatboy together but couldn't get it to idle right so I went to adjust the air fuel mixture and noticed the screw was missing I ordered a new pilot screw should be here tomorrow Im running a mikuni 48 on the adjustment is it 2 full turns or like one and a half?
What's up guys I been posting the progress of the head gasket replacement on the Fatboy got it back together and it was running good took it for a couple short rides didn't get on it hard or anything and my from head stated leaking again fingers crossed my studs didn't pull out of the cases I'm getting ready to tear it back down check the head bolts and re torque if needed but with it being a 94 those are weak cases so I'm preparing for bad news but hopefully from what I hear sometimes u have to retorque the heads after u ride and get it up to temp I will post what I find when I get the rocker boxes off might be replacing the cases or re tapping mine
Hey fellas so I'm pulling the engine on my 94 Fatboy to get some work done on the cases everything was pretty simple until I got to the rear motor mounts I'm down to the last one on the primary side and it's killing me lol I can't get a socket underneath on the nut am I missing something? Is there a trick to this or am I just a dumb a**? Thanks in advance
That's how I did the brake side but the other side the inner primary is in the way I tried getting around taking it off but I'm going to have to my plan was to leave the primary bolted to the transmission and pull the engine but it's not going to happen
