It's not the power delivery I prefer over a cammed bike it's the linear throttle feel from idle. This 'bogging' or 'soft' throttle coming off idle isn't for me.
My main objectives with a cam choice(if possibke)
Linear throttle feel throughout rpm
More power(a given)
A lope/chop.
I also don't want the bike to 'want to be a gear lower' than stock cruising. The 475 wanted 2nd when the stock 114 was happy with 3rd.
The 475 wanted 3rd when the stock/stage 1 was happy with 4th and so on.

Agreed. There are a couple of the bolt-in cams that have a wonky dip in the low end when used with the wrong exhaust. My Rinehart system was no exception with the RS468

I picked a more common, and easier to tune exhaust system this time around with my cam change.
Finding the right guy to tune around an exhaust issue is tough.

I am using a local tuner for the first time, hoping he can dyno tune a Woods 408X from a canned map from Jamie. I am nervous!

For the OP; I am excited to hear your impressions of the 480MT! I have heard good things
