Default motor swap
Iam replacing my '97 Road King motor, is it possible to use a motor from a softtail? do all EVOs mount the same as far as the motor mounts? Thanks!

I'll chime since no rsp yet! I'd have to actually see your '97 but you have a front isolator at the front (looks like a big doughnut up front). An Evo Softail engine bolts directly to the frame I think the Softails (any EVO Big Twin) can be used because the Road King mount assembly (where it hooks up to the engine at two points) makes Big Twins Evolution (EVO) "universal" in the EVO frame. The top isolator on my '97 FLSTC has mount holes on the engine where my horn bracket is for top isolator application, so why not?

Yes it will bolt in using your old mounts make sure you align everything following the procedures in your manual.
