does anybody know the liength measured from the bottom of the rear motor mount to the top of the rocker pan?
I have a rigid frame that was built for a shovel that I might be able to fit the evo into but I can't find the motor dimentions. The frame is6" up so there is a chance the evo will clear. Any help would be great.
The height of a stock 80" evo is 13" above the top of the rear motor mount and 4" to the rear of the same mount. The engine at its tallest point (the center edges of the rocker boxes) is 15 1/2"above the rea mount, the front mount is lower than the rear mount. Hope this helps. If you need any other measurements PM me.
miacyclesis correct, However you need to add atleast a 1/2" to that if you want to be able to remove the rocker cover with the engine in the frame(essential for cam change, head removal)
