engine noise
Maybe nothing!! At around 80 mph or higher I hear a clicking or ping.
First I thought something like a tie rap was hitting something from the wind, it's irrregular not lifter or piston,Sounds like when engine is cooling off. Any ideas?? would help, no service close by!!

I dont want to be a smarty pants but you can hear an engine noise at 80 mph? all I hear is the wind whipping by my ears and my exhaust. I can hear some valve trane noise at about 2500 to 2800 rpm in the lower gears but cannot hear it at high speeds. I am sure it is there but too much other noise.
