New cams

Just had a local indy install some new andrews 26g cams in my 06 SG. He said the gears are very tight. Sounds like I'm running a turbo on it now. Whines big time. Going to have him install some smaller gears to eliminate the noise from the gears. It's also making a rattling sound when idling. Was wondering if anyone else has has this happen. The sound seems to be coming from the compensator sprocket area but I'm thinking it's actually from the cams traveling through. Never had the noise before the install. Cams only have 490 lift so I don't think lifters are coming up and not following the lobes properly. Used the stock lifters. Only 19,000 miles on bike. Any ideas would be helpful before I run it back to him.

What was the spec on the crank run out before the install? Too much run out can be a problem.

all run out & gear lash should have been checked during install.we do ALOT of gear drive installs and don't have these problems because everythings checked.
