Just wondering what good aftermarket gaskets are out there. I hear a lot about Cometic but just seeing what else is out there. Pros and cons of them appreciated. My bike is a 97 Dyna. Thanks.
Beat me to it, Spanners. The old cardboard primary gaskets used to "wet through" on the edge, but I've used the modern rubber coated metal gaskets for years without a drop leaked.
The cardboard types were the ones I'm trying to avoid. If the new stock Harley ones are better, that's what I'll go with.
I think the foam/metal gaskets are the new stock ones and they work great.
If you don't tear it up you can use it several times. I have with no problems.
