Happy New Year from down South! The GlidePro approach is probably a result of doing customer bikes and wanting something that is quick and easy to use (and just look at how much 'stuff' they have in the workshop!). For DIY just once in a while we can get by with much simpler techniques, given a lot of patience! I have only ever used string and line-of-sight when checking bike alignment, although I must admit it's a long time since I last checked my Glide's vehicle alignment....

Happy New Year from rainy Glasgow.!
Is the Engine/Motor alignment done with a Spirit Level then adjust,if necessary, the top & bottom adjustable Engine stabilisers.?
I have checked the Primary Chain for its alignment.

The little grey cells are peering through the fog of my memory and not being very helpful! I would certainly do vertical alignment of the engine first, as once set that should be OK pretty well forever and only involves the top adjuster/stabiliser.
