You don't need motorcycle oil for your Evo. It is not a shared sump like your VN900 or any other Vulcan. Run valvoline VR1 20w-50 or straight 50w. Your engine will be benefited from higher zinc numbers and friction modifiers. The only time you need to worry about moly is in your primary.

Thanks a bunch! It's very much appreciated! I shall update the previous posted links tomorrow.
Forgot to mention that it shows $5 for the price, but changes to $3 in your cart. Apparently there are a few other oils also being clearanced out right now.

I am not getting into yet another oil discussion. My '97 has had synthetic in it since it's first break-in oil change (according to the previous owner) and I changed all the fluids out when I bought it last year (at 2950 original miles). There was not a single leak on it when I bought it and there is not a single leak on it now at 4300 miles & 18 years old.
I am not telling you what to run in your bike. I am just offering up a deal on good oil that I am putting in mine at the next oil change.

VR1 20w-50 or 50 around here is 6.67 with tax at autozone, your at 8.75 there.
Yeah that's ok! I live in the country next to a small town. The parts store is very expensive and I only shop there if I need the part that day and they have it. Otherwise it's a couple hour adventure to the closest Wally World, which I can't stand going to any more it seems. The time and gas money saved is worth it to me to pay a few extra bucks. I'm also a Prime member at Amazon so if I shop right I can't usually get free 2 day shipping on most items. It's the Walmart of the internet to me.
