Gonna be a while waiting on parts and I'm probably just going to work on it when my son is available to help.

This thing has a CV carb.
Should I send it to that killer carbs guy??? Dale???

I don't know much about the CV carb and I would like this thing running as good as it can.

I'm not the expert but I can tell you that a 46/180 with a sportster needle and one 20 thou shim under it works perfectly on mine. I don't think you need to spend big dollars. I think I still have a generic dynojet kit hanging around have to check the jet sizes and if I do it has an adjustable needle

I've just had bad luck with the CV's in the past and thought he might be a better option.

At $200 for a rebuild and $300 for a fresh one I don't think you're getting that out of it. You could put that money elsewhere or keep it in your pocket.
