That's what I should've done with my Glide, what a pig when I got into it. Think I may have to sandblast some of it before it's really clean.

Was like this when I got it, will never look like this again as long as I have it.

Yeah it just needs to be turned around and have the lock nut tightened down.

No. Turn the engine over until the piston on the jug you want to remove is at the bottom of its stroke and pull it off.

The front jug comes off easily.
The rear jug however takes a little finagling.

As tman says move the pistons down a bit.

I suppose once the heads come off and you are at the bottom of the stroke, there would be enough room. I don't imagine there would be a bunch of room but, enough. Thanks!

You don't need to be at the bottom.
Halfway down will do it.

Once you take the heads off there is a lot of room. The cylinders aren't that tall.

Is that same space available on a Electra Glide? I am surprised to see there is that much. Thanks for the pics Tman!

We used to call this the "OBGYN peg".. for obvious reasons.
