No balls!
I pull my enrichener fully to start it then dial it back to about 1200 rpms. I do this pretty much every time I start it. Leave it that way until it's warmed up if sitting there idling, or take off and push it down at the next stop. I have even forgot about it for a time when cruising with no ill effects. Unless it's just a quick stop, off then on again and go of course. Anything longer than 15 minutes and its the same routine. 99% of the time she pops right off doing it this way. That's just how I roll man!
UPDATE!
Ok went back to square one. reset carb to factory settings again, re timed and confirmed with the timing light. Fired it up and running weak.. put some advance in the timing and no better. Checked spark with my in-line spark tester and all good. It was a bad spark plug all along!!! It was a brand new plug, right out of the box. I put in another plug and it started right up and sounds great. Now to add the primary fluid and take it for a spin.

Too bad it was such a PITA to find.
OK. First ride on the ultra last night since the efi to carb conversion. It runs great! It'll out run my '97. Both have ev 27 cams, I am impressed with the difference with the ignition, coil, and S&S carb make. Looks like some changes are in store for the '97
You're hooked. S&S carbs are great performers....period... Enjoy..........
