So I bought the Badlands LE-03-A for my 96 Road King, it's suppose to be plug and play. I read the directions, took the left side cover off and found what I think is the only "rear fender wire harness connection" and pulled it loose. Here the kicker, the connections on the LE do not match the connections on my bike. I was under the impression they should as it being a plug-n-play set up.
Did I miss something? Am I not looking at the right connection (closest to the rear behind the left cover after following the harness from the back of the bike)?
Thanks for the help.
What small experience I have with Badlands is that they get some of the older bikes mixed up on the connections. Try and take the time to call them.
Sounds like your looking at the correct connector.
I have had better luck just hard wiring a unit in on older stuff than I have relying on their applications.
Thanks for the information WP50, I was hoping not to cut and splice. I did contact the seller and they said I did get the right part but it doesn't sound like they will be much help from here.
Does anyone know where I can buy/ find a wire harness connector that I can replace the one that came with this module and make it a true plug-n-play?
Thanks.
Man Thank you WP! I just did a quick search on ebay and found a bunch of them listed. I'll order one later tonight to match up and then change them over when it comes in. Sweet! I really did not want to cut and splice the wiring.

Your manual will tell what kind of connector you have, the tc rear connector is deutch I get them from batts racing.
If its Deutsch get the solid gold plated pins, it is easier to use, than the stamped ones HD and eBay sells.
Think it is 8x
