Yes, they are awesome. I only wish i didn't use 12 oz. Of 20 Weight fork oil. I literally feel every nook and cranny in the road...but work real well at higher speeds....
I've always used the H-D "Performance Heavy" fork oil since installing the progressive springs. Of course, the MoCo doesn't list the weight of the oil, but it works well for me.
I did try the stock weight fork oil after installing the progressive springs, and my front end was all over the road. Felt like I had no damping at all!
I love the firmness of front. It feels like it's more aggressive. I'll know more when i get the better rears. The cheap crap one's i bought are "you get what you pay for" quality ( narrow body Ultima's) lesson learned. The rears suck So bad that it feels like the knock Is coming from the front....
Well reading this is just making me more confused about what I'm going to do with the front end. Guess I'll have to dig deep as I want to do this right the first time.

Hey Glidein, don't be confused, get the Standard springs not the heavy. and set the load rating to that as suggested by Progressive. I used the Drag Specialties complete rebuild kit with bushings. The only thing the kit didn't have was the copper washers that seal the fluid in the bottom of the legs (the bolts that hold the dampers in position) Start with 10 weight fork oil and go from there. If it's not to your liking then just go up or down in weight, heavier oil stiffer suspension. Also you can use more fluid than stock to change the action of the front suspension as well. ie: stock is 10 oz, 11 or 12 with stiffen it up a bit. No confusion... What type of suspension do you want...?
It seems to dive a bit much under hard braking so maybe stiffen things up a bit. But don't want to notice if I run over an ant. Not sure at all what's in my showa front end ,never opened it up yet.

I went with 15w oil and a touch more on the spacer. Yea it does transfer the bumps but the reduction in dive and the way it handles is worth it to me.
