I would (and did) powder coat instead of plasti-dip parts.

As for the front forks just do the lowers and the cowbells.
Do not I repeat do not put anything on the fork tubes.

Short answer. NONE. I tried it on the front of my softail and it is crap. It may have uses, but not on my bike. Ended up shooting the chrome items I was not willing to scuff up (top and bottom tree) with paint. I am 100% confident that it will be more durable and I know it looks better than plastidip.

I did an experement. Top tree is vinyl and ABS paint and the bottom is appliance epoxy. I chose the vinyl paint because it should remain a little soft so as not to flake and the epoxy as it is supposed to have better bonding properties than regular enamel. We shall see, but having done a lot of messing with paints and projects like this over the years I feel pretty confident in the epoxy at least. The trees should not get much abuse or impacts. Now lower legs that you want to save good chrome but make black,,,maybe plastidip would be ok. But only can see it having any use in that situation.

Did my front fork lowers about a year ago, just to see what it looked like.....it is still there probably 4k miles and still looks good. Armor all tends to seal it up and take the tacky away. It is not an end all but does the job short term.

I would like to see the plastic dip stay on the tokyo drift cage rims and not on motorcycles. That stuff is nasty. To each is own. I believe your bike deserves better than a rattle can of rubbery film.

Well I have done it ... and I will be peeling it off... luckily i can do that. It's a great look so at least I know I can fork out the money and either sand the parts down my self and properly paint them or have the pieces sent off to paint. I sprayed quite a few things and every where it's sprayed has some kind of issue except for the light cssing. NOTED . and thanks for the input.
