So I finally found a rev counter to fit to the old King....the bracket that came with it wouldn't fit so I modified it, cut and welded a plate to the base so it could be mounted like the factory accessory. I have found that at 75mph I'm only doing 3000rpm because the new rear sprocket is 47 tooth as opposed to the 48 that was on it. Now open road cruising is a dream...now waiting the 16 spoke FLHT wheel to arrive from you guys homeland.
I'm running that same tachometer and am on my second one. Works nice... but now the potentiometer on the inside is not making good contact, I have a screw putting pressure on it to keep it working. Any one know of a good after market replacement?
Looks sharp! That's a good location for it, you can actually use it. Mine on the console is so far out of sight that you have to take your eyes off the road to use it, no bueno.

Will your windshield still fit?
This is the location that the factory accessory is...I Googled it. It's a great spot alright much easier to see than the speedo and yes the windshield does still fit ..not that I use it. Cheers
Nice installation looks good.I installed the same HD mini tachometer about a month ago using some light s steel flatbar.I have a Ultima 6 speed and at 120 kph the bike revs 2600.I don't know what pulleys I have but it cruises very nicely at the higher speeds. The installation was easy cause the Dyna 2000 ignition box has a green wire lead for the tach. The tach works very well.

Good work....I have 24 tooth front and 47 rear, but mines chain converted.
