Things started when my starter went bad and melted the positive terminal on my battery. Replaced the battery and the starter. Now it won't start or even fire a little (unless I'm spraying carb cleaner in the carb). I've pulled the carb off and sprayed carb cleaner over everything and all the jets. I've even replaced the plugs with no luck.
It has gas. The carb is getting gas. The plugs are getting spark.
Any ideas and/or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
If it fires when you are spraying down the carb and you have spark, I'm going with fuel problem. Can you see the accelerator pump squirting fuel down the throat when you twist the throttle?
You might also check the wires going to your coil.
A friend of mine had his come apart and it wouldn't start so I checked the wires and found one that was busted.
Just another shot in the dark.
