Thinking of doing some engine modifications to my 98 FLHR during the off-season. It has about 32k miles. Any suggestions or ideas where I would bet the most bang for the buck...things to stay away from? Thanks

Add ignition module to Jason's list.

Our Evos have several adaptations to help them meet noise and emissions requirements, which include lean carb settings, mild cams, quiet airbox and mufflers, but the part that is often over-looked is the retarded advance curve in the ignition system.

They are both great cams. I had an EV27 in my Glide for several years, but that was the 'wisdom' of the time. A great improvement over stock. The EV13 is said to be a bagger cam, the EV27 for other models, but I suspect the EV27 is the most popular across the range.

Don't do it. Noisy. Unless you like valve train noise. EVL3010 similar profile with smooth ramps.
