Thanks for your input Donald, I had considered splitting the cases myself but after speaking to Darkhorse about what they do, not only true and balance the crank but some things they do with the cases that I'd be lying to say I remember exactly what he said, I decided to just let them do it. My engine is pretty clean as it is, a little paint chipping and no corrosion. The cases look pretty good. I wanted to strip it to bare aluminum anyway. Thanks again.

You're getting them to strip them too?

If not, just leave them standing in a bucket of thinners for a day or two and it'll peel right off. Same goes for cylinders etc.
