To myself that is.
In the last 2 days I got A New "Wego III" and not like we're all going some where but I get to create a little more aggravation for myself tryin to mess with AFR's...
Also got my new Thunderheart programmable speed sensor today, more electronics and programming to keep me nuts.
And a new S&S a/c backing plate with the new upgrade for the banjo bolts. I've replaced the backing plate twice now because of mounting ears cracking. hopefully this will be the last time.... I'm gonna have a good year...... I hope you all do too......

I always thought I was. It was the right ear that always started cracking. I just wonder if it was due to heat expansion of the motor.. S&S suggested the upgrade. We'll see what happens...

That's odd.
Still the only thing I can think of right now that would break the ears is incorrect shims.
Sorry I can't be of more help.
That's ok. Thanx for the help. I think i might know why. I tend to tighten things a little too much as in the intake to the heads to the point where it changed the shape of the intake port where it should Be allowed to move slightly the cylinders expand but not lose enough create s vacuum leak. it's easy enough tho distort them because i had them opened up to 1.800" making the walls quite a bit thinner.
