Thanks, TPost. I used all kinds of stuff, but would do it a little differently going forward. First I used 150 to get the stuff off that was bubbling/peeling, but a much higher grit would have probably worked as well.
Save yourself some elbow grease and time by using aircraft stripper to get the clear coat stuff off. Comes in an aerosol can and if you let it sit for about two minutes it will wipe right off.
