Default Oil line leak

Typical EVO drip chasing.

I have a rev tech 88" in my bobber, chased the leak to the filter mount, it's leaking at the nipple that screws into the housing. Gonna just buy a new one that "looks the same". Are these pretty much a standard EVO part? I can't seem to find just the fitting anywhere. Are these an easy replaced part? Doesn't look hard, just curious if anyone has done one, curious about what tricks might be waiting on me.

Thanks

I'd try to seal what you have before buying a new one.
Try either Teflon thread paste sealant or just some plumbers tape.

I'd thought of that, I was hoping someone would say that. It's a bobber, it's not a daily driver, so I have time to experiment

Simple fix,

There two 3/8" NPT fittings that seat in the oil filter mount. The return line fitting (luckily the outside one) was not seated all the way. I just tightened that bitch up, and it stopped that leak. I'll have to add that to my "**** that rattles loose list" of things to check on a monthly basis.

I feel like a dumbass!

At least you didn't buy another fitting before you tried tightening up the existing fitting.

Then you would really feel like a dumbass...been there got the t-shirt!!!!

You could always just return it and get your money back.
