I have a theory concerning Lifter Tick

I bought a set of Ultima billet rocker box's and the precision used for the rocker shafts and bolts are as tight as can be. No room for lockers or anything else. The way the Moco should of built them. For me worth the price.

I sure wish you would show me how you did it as I've never been able to get the middle rocker box out without doing the jigsaw method to get it out!!!

you guys actually have to disassemble your rockers and shafts in order to pull off your support plates?

that's the first i've heard of that

Evo lifter noise? What lifter noise? Before I bought the Softail I rode a Shovelhead for 36 years with solids!

seriously? .... i've never had to do that.... every rocker plate I've ever removed on an evo, including softails, has never required me to disassemble the rockers and shafts

Revtech but, they sound fine now. They were not happy with more than .100" preload.
